Hi, I’m Rachel—and I’m so glad you’re here! I founded Joyful Harmonies Music Studio because I believe in the life-changing power of music—not just to teach skills, but to build confidence, nurture connection, and spark joy that lasts a lifetime.

As a Kindermusik®-certified educator, I lead our baby, toddler, and preschool music classes in Lynchburg with heart, purpose, and deep respect for each child’s unique journey. My goal is to create a welcoming space where every child feels safe, celebrated, and free to explore at their own pace.

Whether it's a baby discovering their first steady beat, a toddler spinning with joy, or a preschooler singing proudly, I’m right there cheering them on, encouraging growth, and sharing in the magic of music and movement.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me making memories with my husband Aleks and our two amazing kids. We love exploring the outdoors, dancing in the living room, and soaking in the little moments that matter most.

My journey with Joyful Harmonies Music Studio began when my daughter was just six months old and we attended our very first Kindermusik® class in Lynchburg. Watching her blossom through music—alongside a room full of curious, wiggly little friends—sparked something in me. I knew I wanted to be part of creating that same joy and connection for other families.

As Business Manager, I now get to do exactly that. Whether I’m organizing special events, greeting families, or answering questions behind the scenes, my goal remains the same: to help every parent and caregiver feel welcome, seen, and supported as part of our growing musical community.

I love helping families experience the magic of early childhood music—and find their place here at Joyful Harmonies.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me adventuring with my daughter, cozying up in the library, or hunting for treasures in the Target dollar aisle.

Hi! I’m Lauren, the Social Media Coordinator here at Joyful Harmonies. If you’ve ever smiled at a sweet classroom moment or celebrated a milestone on our feed, there’s a good chance I was behind the camera or keyboard. 

I love capturing the joy, curiosity, and connection that fill our studio so you can relive those moments with your family again and again.

When I’m not creating posts or cheering on our little musicians, you’ll probably find me doing one of my favorite things—cleaning and organizing (yes, really!). I also love watching reality TV and traveling with my family whenever we get the chance.

I’m so grateful to help share the heart of Joyful Harmonies with our community, and I can’t wait to highlight more of the memories we’ll make together.
