A small, calm baby music class for exactly this stage. Your baby in your lap, your voice as the main instrument, a room full of parents in the same season. No singing skills required. No one expects your baby to do anything but be a baby.

$180 for the session, billed as two monthly payments of $90
May 6 held as a makeup morning.
What to expect in Foundations Classes:
Right now your baby is changing almost faster than you can keep up with. Eyes that find your face. Hands that reach for everything. A laugh that undoes you completely.
This season is short, and it deserves more than being survived.
Eight weeks is one chapter of your baby’s first year, with a start you can plan around and an end you can see. Your baby gets gentle, research-backed musical play that nurtures early brain development, listening, and language. You get a reason to leave the house on a Thursday, and 45 minutes of connection that has nothing to do with a to-do list.
WHAT A CLASS FEELS LIKE
You settle onto the floor, baby in your lap.
A hello song she’ll know by week three.
Bouncing and rocking songs that build core strength without feeling like exercise.
A scarf drifting over her face, and the moment she figures out she can grab it.
Shakers, bells, a drum she can’t quite hold yet.
Coos and babbles, back and forth, the beginnings of conversation.
And near the end, the room goes soft: a lullaby, baby massage, a few minutes of nothing but the two of you.
Listening, language, movement, emotional security, social confidence: it’s all in there. You won’t need to track it. You’ll see it, in the way she turns toward a familiar song, settles into a lullaby, lights up at the sound of your voice.
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE HOME
A song for the hard parts of the day. The 5 pm fuss, the diaper change, the car seat. Little rituals that make the rough edges of a day with a baby a bit smoother.
Simple ways to play that you’ll actually remember and use.
The same music, at home. Every enrolled family gets the Kindermusik app with your class songs, digital books, and playlists for naps, play, and bedtime, so a lullaby that works on Thursday morning works at 2 am on Saturday too.
Other parents. Babies the same age, grown-ups in the same season. The friendships that start on the mat have a way of continuing into the parking lot and the group text.
Confidence in your own instincts. You already know your baby better than anyone. This gives you more ways to show it.
COME AS YOU ARE
Babies cry here. They nurse, nap, fuss, spit up, and occasionally sleep through the whole thing. All of it is welcome, and none of it needs an apology.
If you can’t carry a tune, your baby doesn’t know and doesn’t care. Yours is the voice she loves most in the world.
If you’re running late, come anyway. If you miss a week, there’s a makeup. If your baby isn’t sitting up yet, or is already pulling to stand, the activities meet her where she is.
Whoever holds this baby most days is who this class is for. Mom, dad, grandparent, nanny, both parents together: you belong here.
This is a judgment-free room, and it’s been built so you can actually relax in it.

My baby is only a few months old. Isn’t it too early?
Not at all. Foundations is made for newborns through 12 months. Every activity is gentle and age-appropriate, and the earliest weeks are some of the sweetest ones to share.
What if my baby cries or needs to nurse/eat during class?
Then your baby is being a baby. Feed, soothe, snuggle, step out and come back. Nobody here will blink.
What if we miss a week?
Every session has one makeup morning, the Thursday after the last class. For this session, that’s May 6. Miss a class, come that day.
What if it snows?
The studio follows Bedford County school closures. If a Thursday is cancelled for weather, the whole class meets on the makeup morning instead. On the snow day itself, you’ll get an invitation to a short coffee-and-cuddles video call, babies welcome, no agenda.
Is this a mommy and me class? Does it have to be mom?
Yes, in the way most people mean it: one grown-up, one baby, together on the floor. And no, it doesn’t have to be mom. Dad, grandma, your partner, your nanny. Whoever is the steady presence in your baby’s days is the right person to bring your baby to class. Babies thrive on familiar faces and familiar routines, and the same grown-up, same mat, same Thursday is part of what makes this work.
What if my baby isn’t sitting up or crawling yet?
Babies participate at every stage. Rolling, crawling, watching from your arms, it all counts, and the movement, eye-tracking, and listening activities are designed for even the youngest infants.
I don’t sing or dance in front of people. Is that okay?
This isn’t a performance. No one is watching you. They’re watching their own babies, and your baby only has ears for you.
Will my baby really get something out of this?
Yes, and you’ll notice it before the session is over: turning toward familiar songs, calming to the lullaby, settling into the routine of class. Those are the earliest signs of a child learning through music.
How are classes kept clean and safe for babies?
Small groups in a clean, baby-friendly space, with every instrument and prop sanitized after each use.
What happens after the session?
A new session begins, and you’re welcome to continue. Many families do. Others take a break and come back for the next chapter. Either way, the songs come home with you.
