At Joyful Harmonies Music Studio, music has the power to nurture connection, inspire growth, and create a sense of belonging. Through joyful, research-based early childhood music experiences, children and caregivers learn, grow, and connect together in a warm, welcoming community.


Every interaction matters. From the first inquiry to years of enrollment, every family deserves to feel seen, supported, valued, and connected. As the studio grows, the Operations Assistant will help create exceptional experiences for the families it serves.


The Operations Assistant is the bridge between families and the studio, ensuring every family feels welcomed, supported, informed, and valued throughout their Joyful Harmonies journey. Through intentional communication, thoughtful care, and seamless support, this role helps families confidently engage with the studio while strengthening the culture of belonging that makes Joyful Harmonies unique.

In This Role, You Will...


  • Support administrative tasks and behind-the-scenes projects so educators can stay focused on creating meaningful musical experiences
  • Coordinate onboarding communications and welcome resources so new families feel supported, confident, and connected before their very first class
  • Help create moments of care and appreciation so families feel known, remembered, and genuinely valued
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective families, listen for what matters most to them, and guide them toward the classes and experiences that fit their family
  • Maintain warm, timely communication so families feel informed and cared for throughout their time at the studio
  • Stay attentive to each family's experience and follow through thoughtfully, so families remain engaged and supported long-term
  • Maintain accurate family records, enrollment information, and communication systems so every family's experience feels easy and dependable

Essentials


  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • Hybrid position (remote and in-person responsibilities)
  • Compensation: $16–18 per hour, depending on experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Comfort learning and using technology platforms
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Reliable transportation for in-person responsibilities and events
  • Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative
