At this age, children are learning so much more than songs.
They’re discovering how it feels to make choices, to express ideas, to move with others, and to try something new without a grown-up right beside them. They’re learning how to listen, wait, lead when ready, and take pride in who they are becoming.
In My Garden is a short, thoughtfully designed summer camp that offers older preschoolers a nurturing space to grow—musically, emotionally, and socially—through music, movement, and imagination.
Throughout the week, children explore the garden through music and imagination.
They’ll buzz like bees, flutter like butterflies, listen for gentle sounds, and move in big and small ways as music brings the garden to life.
The musical focus centers on expression—how music can change in speed, volume, movement, and sound. Children don’t need to name these concepts to understand them; they feel them, hear them, and express them naturally through play.
Playful vocal exploration supports far more than music—it supports how children think, communicate, and learn.
Through vocal play and “what comes next” thinking, children naturally strengthen:
These skills support school readiness and long-term academic success, developed in a way that feels joyful, empowering, and deeply respectful of childhood.
$90 per child (a $30 nonrefundable deposit will be charged to reserve you child's spot, remaining $60 will be charged June 1)

Friday Celebration Class | 10:30–11:15
Friday brings families back together for a shared music experience.
Children begin class independently, just as they have all week. During the final portion of class, families join in for a joyful celebration—singing, moving, and reconnecting through music.
This is not a recital. It’s a moment to say, “Look how much you’ve grown.”

Each camp day follows a predictable, supportive rhythm that helps children feel safe enough to experiment and brave enough to express themselves.
Your child will:
Learning happens through doing—through singing, moving, listening, imagining, and responding together.
This camp isn’t about getting the “right answer.”
It’s about discovering, “I can try. I can remember. I can belong.”
School readiness at this age isn’t about academics—it’s about building the skills that make learning possible.
Through music, movement, vocal play, and imaginative games, children practice:
These experiences help children enter preschool and kindergarten feeling confident, capable, and ready to learn.
Children learn best when they are active participants in their own learning.
In this camp, educators guide rather than direct—inviting children to make choices, share ideas, and discover answers together. Children are never rushed to lead, speak, or perform before they are ready. Instead, learning unfolds through shared experiences, gentle guidance, and meaningful interaction with peers.
When challenges arise—such as waiting, taking turns, or figuring out what comes next—children are supported in solving problems together, building confidence and cooperation along the way.
Each child is met with patience, warmth, and respect.

Children participate independently in the classroom while families remain on-site, creating a supportive bridge between caregiver-and-child classes and more independent learning experiences.
This approach honors your child’s growing independence—without rushing it.

Separation feelings are a normal part of early childhood, especially when children are new to a program or experiencing independence in a new way.
This camp is designed with calming routines, familiar songs, and predictable transitions that help children feel safe and ready to learn. If a child needs extra reassurance, caregivers are welcome to briefly join the classroom to support a smooth transition, with the goal of helping the child feel secure enough to participate independently.
Every child’s journey looks a little different, and care is taken to meet each child with patience, respect, and encouragement.

Families remain on-site during camp hours, offering children the reassurance of knowing their caregiver is nearby.
While camp is in session, caregivers are welcome to relax in the foyer seating area (tables and chairs available) or spend time with siblings in the indoor playroom. A simple coffee and water station will be available as well.
To support a calm, focused experience for campers, the classroom space is reserved for enrolled children. If a caregiver joins the classroom to support a child during separation, siblings will remain in shared spaces with another adult. (Babies under 6 months in a carrier are welcome.)
If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit for your child, you’re always welcome to reach out with questions.

To create a peaceful and personalized experience, space is limited.
Reserve your spot today and give your child the gift of emotional connection, joyful music, and meaningful memories—with you right by their side.
Join us for a season of music, laughter, and connection. We can’t wait to welcome you into our Kindermusik family!
