A Family Music Summer Camp
for Ages 0–5
(Caregiver participation required)
Young children do their best learning close to the ground.
On blankets, on hands and knees, on wobbly feet, and through curious exploration.
This is the season of early childhood where every movement matters—reaching, rolling, crawling, climbing, pretending, and trying again.
Down On the Ground is a nurturing, mixed-age summer camp designed for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Each child is supported right where they are developmentally—while also learning alongside others in a warm, connected environment.
This shared experience is especially meaningful for siblings and friends who can explore, move, and learn together.
The Theme: Down On the Ground
This camp invites you and your child to slow down and notice the world from where you are—close to the ground.
Together, you’ll follow your toddler’s lead as they hop like bunnies, crawl like caterpillars, scamper like squirrels, and listen closely to the sounds of footsteps, crickets, and playful voices. Through songs, fingerplays, imaginative movement, and hands-on exploration, your child’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder are nurtured—while your steady presence helps everything feel safe, connected, and doable.
The musical experiences gently support:
- exploring high and low sounds
- playful and silly vocal expression
- listening and responding through sound and movement
- discovering cause and effect through instruments and materials
All learning happens through play, repetition, and joyful connection.
The early years are full of brave attempts, big feelings, and meaningful growth.
Down On the Ground offers a space where your child can explore, move, and discover—supported by music, simple routines, and your loving presence—just as they are.
At a glance
$90 per child (a $30 nonrefundable deposit will be charged to reserve you child's spot, remaining $60 will be charged June 1)

What your Child will experience
Each camp day follows a predictable, calming rhythm
Your child will:
- explore movement close to the ground—rolling, crawling, stretching, climbing, and moving in their own way
- engage in music through singing, instruments, and playful sound exploration
- experience repetition that builds comfort and confidence
- enjoy snack, craft, and unstructured playtime
- participate in ways that feel natural to their developmental stage
Activities are intentionally simple and flexible, allowing babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to engage differently within the same shared experience.
